ROMNEY NOMINATES RENEE P. DUPUIS AS JUVENILE COURT JUSTICE

Governor Romney today nominated Renee P. Dupuis of New Bedford to the position of Associate Justice of the Juvenile Court, Suffolk County Division.

Dupuis has worked for the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office since 1986, and currently serves there as the First Assistant District Attorney. She previously held the positions of Director of the Sexual Assault/Child Abuse Unit and Chief Trial Counsel.

Dupuis is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Bristol County Bar Association, where she serves on the Board of Directors.

Dupuis received an Associates Degree from the Community College of Rhode Island in 1980. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Bryant College in 1982, and later earned a law degree from Boston University School of Law in 1985.
