ROMNEY TO NOMINATE PALMERI AS CLERK OF GREENFIELD COURT

Governor Mitt Romney today announced he will nominate Margaret E. Palmeri of Shelburne to the position of Clerk-Magistrate for the Greenfield District Court.

Palmeri has worked at the Greenfield District Court for 24 years, currently serving as both the Acting Clerk-Magistrate and the First Assistant Clerk-Magistrate. Before becoming the First Assistant Clerk-Magistrate, Palmeri served in a number of different capacities including Assistant Clerk-Magistrate and Courtroom Procedures Clerk. Prior to her employment with the Greenfield District Court, Palmeri worked with the Chemistry Department of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Palmeri holds her associate’s degree from the Greenfield Community College.
