Change:
- Turned a struggling venture capitalist firm into one of the most successful in the world, transforming many businesses along the way (Dominoes, Staples, etc.)
- Saved the 2002 Winter Olympics, which was mired in debt and scandal, and molded it into the model for future Winter Olympics
- Erased $3 billion dollars of debt in the State of Massachusetts, in only four years, and left a “rainy day” fund behind
