I have decided to support MR for two reasons: 1. Although Romney is a baby boomer he did not have the usual baby boomer upbringing and young adult life, therefore he does not act like a baby boomer, Our biggest problem right now is that most leadership positions are filled with baby boomers and their generational attitudes are simply too self referenced. And 2. He has no legislative experiience. There is a reason why only 2 Presidents (Harding and Kennedy) in the 20th Century came directly from the Congress. Legislators make lousy executives. Mitt's business experience is his best qualfication. I know he will talk to a broad variety of people when he is in the decisiom making process. For example, just talking with field grade officers on the question of Iraq and "the Long War" will give him a world of new ideas. I can just see him hauling a bunch of majors and lt colonels up to Camp David to find out what's really going on. It will be like the Staples story: he will be just looking at the invoices.
