Huckabee offends those that have been successful

Huckabee offends those that have been successful.
Reasons to agree:
- At a time when China, Ireland, and even France are embracing free market capitalism, Huckabee says that CEOs make too much money.
- Mike Huckabee calls the club for growth, the club for greed. Republicans should not call the Club for Growth names.
- Huckabee said, on the Jay Leno, that people support him, because he reminds them more of the guy they worked with, than they guy that fired them. Romney says, elect me. I have led. I have been at the top. I have the skills needed to lead this country. Huckabee turns that on the head, and says vote for me, I'm not like your boss. I'm not like those people in the nice houses. I have never lead anything, I'm just a regular guy. Politics sucks when it is all about who is the candidate who represents change, who is the candidate who represents washington, who is the candidate that represent the little guy. Romney says, vote for me, I have the skills to fix Washington. Huckabee says, you, Mr. Joe Sixpack are the type of person who should be president. I am just like you, and so I therefore I should be president. This is the type of thinking that democrats use. Democrats ask, who will give the most for the poor. Republicans ask who can help the poor.
Reasons to disagree:
-
Interest / Motivation of those who agree:
- Promoting Mormonism by promoting Mitt Romney by opposing Huckabee who is Romney's rival.
- Promoting the Republican party by promoting another person if they think that person is more qualified.
- Promoting religious minorities.
- Promoting the separation of church and state.
- Getting back at religious people for trying to making them feel bad about their actions.
- Promoting immigration from people from your race, if you are from the race that is trying to immigrate.
Interest / Motivation of those who disagree:
- Opposing Mormonism, by Opposing Mitt Romney, who was Huckabee's main rival.
- Promoting the Republican party by promoting Huckabee if they think that person is the most qualified.
-
Promoting evangelicalism.
- Opposing religious minorities.
- Be seen as "strongly" committed within their religious community by promoting their church's power by opposing the separation of church and state.
- Opposing immigration from people who are not your race, if you are not from the race that is trying to immigrate.
