The Boston Globe Brian McGrory and the rest of the editorial staff) don't even try to be fair or balanced. Apparently because Fox News uses these words, they are now of the democrat-devil (who-ever he is). I don't know the epistemology of liberal rag, but I would rather a liberal dose of dirty rags than read very much more of their rotting filth.
With very little provocation, they will mercilessly attack everything a republican does, assuming they are the scum of the earth, while giving all sorts of allowances, and leeway toward democrats.
Like all dictators, they do not allow multiple voices. They are in charge, and they will keep their power. They will not let users respond to the swill that fills their pages.
News sources, and all of us for that matter, should be in search of truth. Why then would an article about Mitt Romney’s position not link to his press release were he explains his reasoning?
Mitt Romney was right to denounce Khatami’s visit to Harvard, decline to provide escort or other state support for his trip.

During Khatami’s presidency, Iran refused to hand over the Iranian intelligence officials who were responsible for the attack on the Khobar Towers that killed 19 U.S. military personnel.
In his own country, Khatami oversaw the torture and murder of Iranian students, journalists, and others who spoke out for freedom and democracy. Khatami relaxed freedom of speech laws giving democracy reformers a false sense of security only to engage in one of the largest crackdowns in the country’s history.
“Khatami pretends to be a moderate, but he is not. My hope is that the United States will find and work with real voices of moderation inside Iran. But we will never make progress in the region if we deal with wolves in sheep’s clothing,” GovernorMitt Romney: Source: 09-05-2006 Press Release
The federal government already provides security through the U.S. State Department.
“Never mind that Khatami is considered by many in the human rights field to be a reformer” [Reformer? Reasons to disagree]
"The State Department gave him a visa to travel in the United States or that his speech on Sunday urged restraint on the part of all religions and nations].” - Brian McGrory
“Seeing him in full outrage, I had this vague recollection of the prime minister of Vietnam trying to come to Boston last year -- you know, the same prime minister who presides over a government that blocks Internet sites from citizens, restricts religious freedoms, heavily regulates citizen expression, and bans privately owned media companies.” - Brian McGrory
"Never mind that Khatami is considered by many in the human rights field to be a reformer" - [Brian McGrory]
Some people think that my farts smell like roses, does that mean that they do? Is this liberal logic? If "some people" think something than it must be true?
Who are these un-named sources that think Khatami is a reformer?
What evidence is three that he is a reformer? Governor Mitt Romney gave evidence for his conclusion, all you did was call him names and say that he was oportunistic.
Come on. Brian McGrory uses the logic of a 2 year old. He could not get a job out of the editorial staff of the boston globe. He is a piece of... I defy anyone to give a reason to agree with this moron.
"The State Department gave him a visa to travel in the United States or that his speech on Sunday urged restraint on the part of all religions and nations].” - Brian McGrory
Who taught logic to [Brian McGrory]? That person should be kicked in the knees. Is the State Department infalable? Is this really the road that [Brian McGrory] wants to go down? Romney can not critisize anything the state department can do, but you can critisize everything Romney does? Why? Please elaborate?
Did Romney critisize the state department for letting Khatami into the country? No! He critisized Harvard's timing, with september 11th inviting a person who supports violent jihad.
