Romney Stumps At South Carolina Conventions

"Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney told a GOP county convention crowd here Saturday that politicians in Washington aren't getting the job done as he pledged to cut government spending and push middle tax income tax breaks.

 

"Romney was wrapping up a two-day presidential primary swing through this first-in-the-South primary state as big, vote-rich counties hold meetings in the run-up to the state convention and a presidential debate next month."

"'They talk and they debate and they don't get the job done,' Romney said. 'You see, in the private sector, if all you do is talk, they get fired. Talk is cheap,' Romney said."
