Romney travel as Governor shows that he didn't care about Massachusetts.

Reasons to disagree

  1. Romney and the state legislature had come to an impasse. He could have gone door to door helping people in Massachusetts chop wood, but he could also run for president. Neither one would really effect Massachusetts good or bad.
  2. How many times that Romney was out of Boston "running the state" were the state's senators also out of Boston. You know, there was no active legislation.
  3. Romney had a phone. You can call people between states.
  4. Romney canceled a trip to Israel when things came up back home.
  5. Romney paid for solder's when there was a gap out of the Governor's budget, when the senators were all out of session. Romney surrounded himself with good people and got things done. The person who is inside the border's of the state the most amount of time is not necessarily the best executive.
