Romney's Leadership Is Needed

...

"I have served in Washington for more than four years and have seen enough. No matter what rhetoric you hear about fiscal discipline, it rarely exists in Washington.

"We need new leadership that will shed this spend-first culture, and Romney can deliver."

...

"At a critical time for our country, Romney has a plan to put America's budget on a strict diet.

"First, Romney will not raise taxes. He knows that tax increases only make it easier for legislators to spend more, even as higher taxes slow our economic engine. He supports making the Bush tax cuts permanent.

"Second, Romney has a record of fighting for lower taxes."

...

"Third, he has successfully demonstrated his ability to cut spending by using the line-item veto, and he believes the president should have the same power.

"Fourth, Romney is the only candidate that has a plan to bring fiscal sanity back to Washington. He would cap growth in nondefense spending at less than the rate of inflation, push for the presidential authority to spend up to 25 percent less than Congress appropriates, and lead a top-to-bottom review of government programs, agencies and spending."

...

"Romney is the clear choice to bring fiscal discipline back to Washington."
