The tax code is unfair and cumbersome.

Reasons to agree

  1. As of 2001, the American tax code contained nearly 1.7 million words which is nearly 380 times the number of words in the U.S. Constitution.
  2. It shouldn't take special software to help you fill out your taxes.
  3. It shouldn't take a professional to help you to fill out your taxes.

  5. Three out of five Americans using a paid tax preparer.
  6. Americans spend over $200 billion each year just to comply with our complicated tax code.
  7. Today’s tax code is unfair, discourages savings and investment.
