We should organize those books that support and those that appose different beliefs.
Reasons to agree
- People assume that those ideas that come into their brains when they are arguing an issue are the only ideas that they need to consider when deciding what they believe. They need to be aware that smart people have devoted thousands, or sometimes millions of hours making arguments that apply to the issue that they are deciding.
- It would be easy to come up with an a computer algorithm that reflects the collective opinion of people's ideas about what are good books, and what are bad books. Sure, people may be stupid and like books that make stupid arguments, but in general it would be beneficial to understand what books people value, and what conclusions they make from the books they read. We can do this by organizing theses statements that people take away from the books they read, and how these books affects what they believe.
