Raising the Bar on Education

Governor Romney has said that we should have a federal home schooling tax credit.

I would like to hear your reasons to agree or disagree, until then, here are my Reasons to agree with Romney:

  1. Every kid that is home schooled, is a person that the government doesn't have to educate.
  2. We don't have to build school libraries for kids that are home schooled.
  3. We don't have to build school cafeterias for kids that are home schooled.
  4. We don't have to build school gymnasiums for kids that are home schooled.
  5. We don't have to pay teachers for kids that are home schooled.
  6. We don't have to pay janitors for kids that are home schooled.
  7. We don't have to pay superintendents for kids that are home schooled.
  8. Kids who are home schooled to better on standardized test like ACTs, SATs, and Iowa Basics.
  9. As of 2003, there were nearly 1.1 million home schooled students in the United States. Governor Romney believes that parents who want to home school their kids should be able to do so. To help them, he will provide a tax credit to help defray the Educational expenses of parents who home school their kids.
