Where is the pushback coming back on this proposal

Hugh Hewitt: All right. Now, Governor Romney, where’s the pushback coming back on this proposal?

Governor Mitt Romney: Well, you know, Mike Dukakis, who you may remember is the Massachusetts Democrat who ran for president in the 90’s. He, or ‘88 I guess it was. He’s saying oh, no. We should put a mandate on businesses, and make every business get people insurance. And there are two problems with his idea. One is that a lot of small businesses just can’t afford the high cost of insurance, and it’ll put jobs, you know, out of the reach of our citizens. So that idea’s not good for that reason. And the second reason is, a lot of people work for multiple employers. They’re doing odd jobs, they’re sole proprietorships. We’d have way too many people that just couldn’t get insurance, if the only place we insured people was through businesses.
