You shouldn't choose your battles

Mitt Romney was strategic. He knew he couldn't win the abortion battle in Massachusetts, so he gave in. He chose his battles. You shouldn't choose your battles, you should always fight for the right, even if you loose.

Reasons to disagree:

  1. Some people love a heroic looser. I do not. They are selfish babies. You need to do what you can to make things better in life, and when you can't win you move on. Generals can not be stubern. They have to know when they have lost. They should not let pride cause them to sacrifice their solder's lives. You can loose a battle, but still win a war. Politics is war, without the blood. If you refuse to fight, because you can not win on one issue, then you are a traitor to those who need you to make things better.
  2. Jesus taught the parrible of the person who desided to build a tower, but did not have the ability to finish it. He told us to determine if we can finish a project, before we start it.
