Media Logical Validity Score:
Each claim, implied argument, or assumed cost, benefit, and advocated verbially or hinted at will be listed. Each of these claims will have their own logical validity score, and a linkage score to the media assesing the degree to which that argument or belief can be said to be central to the point of that media. The overall logical validity score, will be a weighted measurement representing the overall positive or negative logical validity of these arguments multiplied by our confidence level that they can be ascribed to that media.
🔍 Media Truth Score
The Media Truth Score measures how accurately and responsibly a piece of media represents reality — and how central those claims are to its message.
- Silent Spring scores high: its core claims about chemical pollution are scientifically verified.
- The Good Earth scores high despite being fiction: its portrayal of gender and class aligns with historical record.
- Propaganda, misinformation, or conspiracy media score low: their central claims collapse under scrutiny.
Genre doesn't matter. Fiction, news, documentary, and opinion are judged by one standard:
"How true are the central ideas — and how honestly are they represented?"
This prevents fiction from being dismissed as "just a story" and journalism from being trusted by default.
