A society can not last very long that has come to a point ethically were individuals are able to destroy life for convenience.

Reasons to agree:

1. If you can take life to make your life easier, what else can you do? You can steal, you can rob, you can do anything so long as it helps you. It doesn't matter who you hurt, as long as you get your way.
2. The other side may say that coming into this life may not be such a blessing, and being aborted might not be so bad, but were does this kind of thinking stop? It leads to craziness. This kind of thinking could be used to justify all terrible crimes against adults. For instance, using nuclear weapons wouldn't be bad, as long as they killed everyone instantly.

Reasons to disagree:

1. Preventing the development of a fetus (abortion) isn't equally wrong during all stages of development.
2. Most everyone agrees that it is wrong to kill a 9 month old baby (not a result of incest or rape, and not threatening the life of the mother) even if it is inside the mother. And almost everyone agrees that the morning after pill should be allowed.
