    1. Get involved in local politics . . . I'm not saying to run for office (go for it if you feel so inclined), but find local candidates you feel comfortable supporting and help in their efforts.
      1. Reasons to agree:
        1. "All politics is local" is a common mantra that olds true and we will have a better time convincing the politically active around us of our point of view, if we've helped them out and they feel "in our debt."
    2. Support local "issue groups" that are in line with your stances by signing up for their newsletters, signing their petitions, attending their events, etc. . . (similar to #3 above) For example, I have signed up with the Iowa Christian Alliance here in my state.
    3. Improve the credibility of your own voice, by letting people know a little bit about you.
      1. Reasons to agree:
        1. People want to know about you before they will listen to you. They want to be able to relate to you. Obtain a flickr account, discuss things other than Mitt Romney. I was thinking that instead of having all of these seperate blogs, maybe I should put all my stuff on one blog. Maybe it would be interesting to discuss other things than just mitt. I don't know... Help me out with this
