Pro-Choice stance during first campaign ( here's the link to his 1994 survey where he agreed that "abortions should be legal in all circumstances as long as the procedure is completed within the first trimester of the pregnancy.") Fortunately, he has a stellar pro-life voting record since then. But, couldn't the cynnic say that a Senator from a southern Red State voting "pro-life" might just be a matter of political expediency?
