Laws strong enough to discourage employing illegal aliens would be extreme

Laws strong enough to discourage employing illegal aliens would be extreme.

Reasons to disagree

  1. Any law that is easy to comply with, is not extreme. Any law that does not punish you too severly for the first offense, is not extreme. If we created a system that made it easy to identify legal and illegal aliens, than it would be easy to follow the law. If we don't punish you very much for your first offense, but punish you a little more each time you break the law, only those who are trying to break the law will be punished very severely.
