Money for education should not come out of property taxes.

Reasons to agree:

1. If you worked very hard so that you can get ahead, and you are able to live in a place were you pay lots of property taxes, perhaps your community can use that extra money to build better roads.
2. You shouldn't have to pass bonds in order to build schools. Money for schools should come out of a state's general funds.

 

Reasons to disagree

1. Why should retirement communities have to pay taxes for schools in other cities?
