There are a lot of things to dislike about America.

 

Reasons to agree

  1. It was bad that it took until 1920 for the USA to give women the vote. +3
  2. Americans were unfair to that Native Americans.
  3. Americans were unfair to slaves.
  4. American culture is selfish.
  5. Americans do badly in Math.
  6. Americans do badly in Science.
  7. American culture glorifies violence.
  8. American culture objectifies women. -1 

 

Reasons to disagree

  1. The constitution of the United States is awesome. +3 
  2. America is good.
  3. The USA is the first modern democracy.
  4. No matter what mistakes America has made in the past we are still a great country.

 

Score: +8 (reasons to agree), -4 (reasons to disagree), + 1 (2 reasons to agree with reasons to agree/2), -1.5 (3 reasons to agree with reasons to disagree/2)

+8, -4, +1, -1.5 = 3.5
