Hugh Hewitt: If you collide with the law, and you’ve not got health insurance…proof of health insurance, what’s the penalty?
Governor Mitt Romney: Well, there’s no penalty, no crime. There’s no…nothing of that nature for not having insurance. Instead, you’re going to be responsible for paying your own bill. And you either get insurance, and we’re making insurance very reasonably priced, particularly for small companies and sole proprietorships, you know, either get insurance or your pay your own bill. And…but there’s no half-way between of saying, hey look. I don’t want to pay my own bill, and I don’t want to buy insurance. Let somebody else pay for me. That’s not allowed anymore.
